BHOJPUR: Property worth Rs 1.5 million was destroyed when a house caught fire in Sabhapokhari-6 of Sankhuwasabha district on Friday morning.

Various materials inside the home of Tek Bahadur Magar including Rs 30,000 cash were reduced to cinders.

It has been learned that the fire made to prepare foods had spread to the house.

Police and locals had contained the fire, the Barhabise Police Post informed.
