Protect rights of Muslims: Nembang

Kathmandu, April 8:

Speaker Subas Nembang today said that the interim constitution must have a special provision to address the issues of the Muslims.

“New Nepal must guarantee the religious rights of all the communities,” he said, while addressing the national congress of the National Muslim Forum Nepal (NMFN).

Rastriya Janashakti Party chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa said that the state must guarantee proportional representation of all the communities, including the Muslims, in the constituent assembly.

Rights activist Daman Nath Dhungana said the Muslims might need to launch a campaign to seek their due representation in the CA.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party chairman Pashupati Shamsher Rana said that the Muslims should raise their voices for their rights.
