POKHARA: Province 4 Speaker Netra Nath Adhikari has sustained critical head injury after he slipped and fell at a restroom in his office quarters on Friday.

According to District Police Office Kaski, Speaker Adhikari was taken to Manipal Teaching Hospital’s ICU before he was referred to Kathmandu based Neuro Hospital for further treatment. The speaker was flown to Kathmandu on 7:00 am today.

According to the Manipal Teaching Hospital, Speaker Adhikari has developed blood clot in his head due to the fall. Nonetheless, he has not lost consciousness and his health condition is stable.
