HETAUDA: Chief Judge at Patan High Court, Prakash Dhungana, administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Chief Attorney of Province 3, Surya Chandra Neupane, amidst a ceremony held here today.

Chief Minister Dormani Poudel had recommended Nepaune's name for the post of Chief Attorney on March 7 as per Article 160 (2) of the Constitution. Based on the recommendation, Governor Anuradha Koirala had appointed Neupane to the post on the same day.

Governor Anuradha Koirala, Chief Minister Dormani Poudel and Speaker of the province assembly Sanu Kumar Shrestha were present on the occasion.

Likewise, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Kailash Dhungel, Minister for Commerce, Forests and Tourism Arun Nepal, Minister for Social Development Yuvaraj Dulal, Chief Secretary of the province secretariat Reshmi Raj Pandey, province assembly members Prem Bahadur Pulami, Juneli Shrestha, Chief at the Makawanpur District Coordination Committee Raghu Nath Khulal, Deputy Chief Bhagawati Pudasain, Makawanpur Chief District Officer Chakra Bahadur Budha, among others were also present at the ceremony.
