HETAUDA: A cabinet meeting of Province 3 chaired by Chief Minister Dormani Poudel discussed various issues today including setting up of a provincial university. It has been decided that a study committee will be formed by Social Development Ministry of the province for establishment of the university. Likewise, the cabinet carried out discussions on selecting a location to construct a peace park, proposed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law. The meeting also approved a bill formed to amend the Act related to remuneration of position holders and members of the province assembly. Moreover, the cabinet decided to operate cooperative-based group agriculture scheme proposed by the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, informed Province Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Kailash Dhungel. Along with Chief Minister Poudel and Minister Dhungel, also present at the meeting were Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forests and Environment Arun Nepal, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Shalikram Jamarkattel, Minister for Social Development Yuvaraj Dulal, and Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives Dawa Dorje, among others.
