The Province 3 government is preparing to build two peace parks in the province.

The proposed peace parks are Majdur Shahid Memorial Park in Dhading’s Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality and Rudra Memorial Park in Makawanpurgadhi Rural Municipality, Makawanpur.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Planning today, construction of the parks will begin this fiscal. Ten million rupees each have been allocated for the construction of the parks.

The estimated cost of Dhading-based park is Rs 100 million and Makawanpur-based park Rs 60 million. The parks will have picnic spots, shops, swimming pools, gardens and temples.
