Province 7 CM Bhatta at transport office to check on staffers

Province 7 Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta today reached the Transport Management Office in  Dhangadi, Kailali for  surprise check there.

Following complaints from service seekers regarding service delivery at the Office of Transport Management, CM Bhatta reached the office for cross-checking at 11:00am.

Bhatta reached the office when service seekers were queuing up to submit forms for licence exam.

When the CM reached the office, service seekers had formed three lines and were waiting to submit their forms. He took stock of the service provided by the transport office. Service seekers told the CM that they were facing a hard time in receiving service.

The CM reached the accounts section and the office of the chief. Bhatta directed employees to deliver services effectively and efficiently.

CM Bhatta warned of stern action if financial anomalies were found in service delivery. The CM had come to check after receiving complaints that employees at the transport office were taking bribe for license distribution, licence renewal and exam.

Transport Management Office Chief Krishna Bhusal said that they were working day and night to deliver service to the public. “After I was posted here, we have conducted exams for driving licence for more than 50,000 people,” Bhusal added.
