Province 7 Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Bohara tenders resignation

DHANGADHI: Sudurpaschim Province's Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Jhapat Bahadur Bohara has tendered his resignation on Wednesday.

Bohara announced today that he was resigning from the ministerial post and would furnish his resignation to Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta.

Along with Bohara, other leaders affiliated to KP Sharma Oli faction of NCP - former provincial Physical and Infrastructure and Development Minister Pathan Singh Bohara, provincial assembly members Nepalu Chaudhary, Liladhar Bhatta, Ratan Thapa, Mahesh Dutta Joshi and Gyalbu Bohara headed towards the CM Office this afternoon.

Bohara was elected to the provincial assembly from Aacham Constituency 2 'b'.

Leader Jhapat Bahadur Bohara was fielded as candidate from the Maoist Centre before beingĀ  appointed as Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Development.

In an ongoing fracas in the NCP, leaders close to Dahal-Nepal and KP Sharma Oli factions have been dismissing their rivals or exerting pressure to make them resign from their posts.
