Province govt will protect culture: Gurung

Gandaki Province Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung today said the province government would move ahead with the policy of protecting the cultures of different ethnic groups.

Observing the museum of the Newar Community in Nadipur of Pokhara today, CM Gurung said the government was working to connect the cultures of different communities in different places for the benefit of nature and adventure tourism in the province. “Nature, culture and adventure tourism are the main attractions of the province,” he said. CM Gurung further said that tourists would extend their stay in different areas if the museums and cultures of different communities were protected.

CM Gurung also said that the Newar community was rich in culture and protection of different cultures of different communities was needed.
