SURKHET: The 'Province level Trade, Tourism and Agro Festival-2074' has kicked off in Birendranagar, the temporary headquarters of Province 6 in Surkhet district on Friday.

Inaugurating the festival, Province Chief Durga Keshar Khanal stressed the need to develop the Karnali corridor connecting Panchakoshi of Dailekh, Rara of Mugu, and Mansarovar of Humla, urging the government and private sectors to work in collaboration for the development.

The festival holds a total of 409 stalls, shared Main Function Committee Coordinator and Chairperson of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Province 6, Padam Bahadur Shahi.

The festival will last till February 20.
