PA members pledge to focus on development

Dhangadi, January 23

Provincial Assembly members from Province 7 said that they would zero in on development and prosperity as political change had come to an end in the country.

PA member elected from Doti Trilochan Bhatta said that people’s rights had been established and the state had seen massive change in political system. “We fought hard for political rights and freedom in the past. Now, we shall focus on development and prosperity,” he said. He said with implementation of federalism and formation of the provincial government, development would take flight.

PA member Jhapat Bohara from Achham said they would work to attract investment for the development of the Province 7. Stating that province 7 had immense potential in hydropower, agriculture, and tourism,  Bohara said the provincial government would invest in these sectors.

Rana Bahadur Malla, PA member from Kailali said the Provincial Assembly would prepare a comprehensive draft of development for the province.
