KATHMANDU: The government has announced a public holiday on the day of Kija Puja, a day after Bhai Tika, on Wednesday, October 30.

As per the cabinet decision of October 22, a public holiday has been announced for October 30, through a press statement by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

With this announcement, holidays for the festive season of Tihar starts on October 27 and ends on October 30.
