Punish the guilty, Nepal tells Prime Minister Oli
Kavre, October 14
Former prime minister and senior Nepal Communist Party leader Madhav Kumar Nepal today urged Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to punish the guilty who are responsible for obstructing him from realising his campaign of ‘Happy Nepalis, Prosperous Nepal’.
Addressing the inauguration of the city bus at Mandan Deupur Municipality in Kuntabeshi of Kavre, Nepal said people from home and abroad have high expectations of the incumbent government. “Thus, Oli should not spare anybody who errs. I want you to use a stick to punish erring and corrupt people,” Nepal suggested. He urged the prime minister not to spare ministers, secretaries, engineers and contractors, among others.
Nepal said all sides should hold discussion about permanent headquarters of Province 3. He asked Nepal Communist Party lawmakers and leaders to convince people inside and outside the party to fix the headquarters sooner than later. “Maybe even the Nepali Congress might agree to make Kavre the permanent headquarters,” Nepal said.
