KAVRE: District Disaster Rescue Committee is yet to collect the details of the deadly earthquake of April 25 though two months has passed.

As many as 14 VDCs and four municipalities of Kavre had to bear terrible loss in the April 25 disaster and the recurring aftershocks.

It is said that data has not yet reached the concerned authority due to delay in deployment of officials to quake-hit areas.

Meanwhile, Kavre Local Development Officer, Chiranjibi Timsina, said the concerned authority had delayed the deployment of technicians and other experts to the tremor-hit areas and this had resulted in delay of collection of details regarding the damage caused by the earthquake. He said that the details are yet to come from Saldhara, Milche, Ghartichhap, Gokule, Budhakhani, Phoxintar, Salmechakal among other VDCs and Panauti and Panchkhal Municipalities.
