Quit protests: Rana to UCPNM

POKHARA: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Pashupati Shumsher Rana Saturday suggested that the UCPN-Maoist quit their protest programmes and assist in taking the peace process to a logical end.

Speaking at a programme in Pokhara, Rana said that the UCPN-Maoist should be more flexible in the army integration process. He opined that only the eligible PLA combatants meeting the minimum prerequisites to join the national army should be merged into it. They could also be merged into other security forces like Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, added Rana.
