Rangeli remains shut a day after fatal clash
BIRATNAGAR: Rangeli Bazaar remained shut to protest the killing of three agitators amid police firing in Rangeli, Morang on Thursday.
The agitators were killed in a clash with police that ensued after police stopped the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) cadres from marching towards the programme venue of Youth Association Nepal, youth wing of ruling CPN-UML, where UML senior leaders were scheduled to attend the programme.

As a result, transportation along the Rangeli-Biratnagar road has come to a halt, while a large number of security forces have been deployed.
