ILAM: The District Court, Ilam, on Friday sentenced rapist Biren Limbu to seven years in jail for raping a 14-year-old girl. A single bench of Judge Nabaraj Dahal sentenced Limbu of Barbote VDC-3 to seven years in prison along with a fine of Rs 50,000, according to the Registrar of district court Jagadishwor Bhattarai. The relatives of the victim had lodged a case at the District Police Office stating that the girl was raped on August 13.
