RJP-N candidate elected mayor of Rajbiraj Municipality

RAJBIRAJ: The Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) candidate has won the mayoral post in Rajbiraj Municipality in the local level elections.

RJPN candidate Shambhu Yadav has been elected the mayor with 4,744 votes. His closest rival candidate BhimRaj Yadav of the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal (FSF-N) mustered 4,759 votes. The RJP-N candidate won the local election by a margin of 15 votes.

Similarly, Sadhana Jha of the RJP-N has been elected the deputy mayor with 5,195 votes. Her closest contender Kiran Sah of the FSF-N secured 4,269 votes.
