RASUWA: The Syaphru-Timure road section has been obstructed due to a landslide at Briddhim VDC-1 in Rasuwa district.

With the obstruction, vehicular movement has been obstructed and commuters have been stranded since Monday morning, informed Rasuwa District Police Chief Phanindra Prasain.

Further, supplies from the Chinese sides have also been halted, Prasain added.

It has been learned that the pedestrians are also failing to walk along the road section as the road has been adversely damaged due to the landslide.

Police have stated that they have been working out to clear the debris. However, they assumed that it would take four to five days to complete the work.
