RAUTAHAT: A 33-year-old man was apparently hacked to death in Karuniya VDC of Rautahat on Friday.

The body of Abhinandan Sah was found with his throat slit this evening in Bansghari of the VDC, according to Garuda Area Police Office.

The local farmers had informed police after seeing his body nearby their farms, said Police Inspector Keshav Regmi.

“The assailants might have attacked Sah in a foggy morning,” suspected Regmi, adding, “Police will collect his body tomorrow morning as it is already late evening today.”

Police are investigating into the case.
