RAUTAHAT: A bus hit killed a woman in Chandrapur of Rautahat in the wee hours of Thursday.

Hemanti Chaudhary died on the spot while the bus (Na 5 Kha 2022) en route to Katahariya of Rautahat from Kathmandu hit her in Chandrapur-12 at around 5 am today.

After the woman was killed, bus staff had dumped the body in a bush, which locals had noticed after few hours.

The locals reported the incident with police and police nabbed the bus driver – Raju Paudel from Hetaunda Sub-Metropolitan City-2 of Makawanpur – for further investigations.
