Maoist central member and in-charge of Gandak regional bureau, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi (Anil) on Friday said that a national army should be formed after merging the Royal Nepalese Army with the Jana Mukti Sena (People’s Army).

Rayamahji was speaking at an assembly organised by the Gandak regional bureau of the party at Sisaghat.

“The RNA should be merged under Jana Mukti Sena to form a national army if we want to restructure governing bodies of the nation, “said Rayamajhi.

He clarified that the Maoists would cooperate with the seven political parties if these go ahead with the 12-point pact.
