NAGARKOT: Nepal Red Cross Society would soon restructure its statute as per the new federal structure of the country, while making humanitarian activities more effective.

The two-day annual review meeting of the NRCS that concluded here Thursday decided to develop legal and policy framework to collaborate with the local level government and increase community participation.

Society Chair Sanjib Thapa said that as the organisation is one that operates with community participation and volunteers the review meeting has appealed to increase community participation and effectiveness of its services.
