Chitwan, August 9

Chitwan has witnessed a fall in registration of new industries in the last fiscal.

The data with the Cottage and Small Industry Office of Chitwan showed  838 new industries registered with the office in the last fiscal compared to 1,009 in the fiscal 2014/15. This number is the lowest in the past three years.

Around 890 industries were registered in the district in the fiscal 2013/14.
