Relief amount of Rs 35.4 million was distributed to Nepali Army personnel whose houses were partially and completely damaged in the earthquake of April and May, at Byas Municipality, in Tanahun.

Major Durga Bahadur Thapa said 412 NA personnel whose houses were completely destroyed and 594 personnel whose houses were partially damaged received relief amounts.

The amount was distributed on the basis of supportive documents like identity cards and quake victim ID cards to incumbent personnel; and pension ID cards and quake victim ID cards to the retired personnel. Thapa said that Rs 40.5 million would be distributed in the first phase.
