BHOJPUR: Over Rs 60 million has been distributed to the earthquake survivors in Bhojpur district.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer and Information Officer of District Administration Office(DAO), Rajan Pandey, the relief assistance of Rs 62.95 million was distributed to the earthquake-affected families including those killed.

As many as 3,751 houses were completely damaged while 6,561 houses had seen partial damage in two municipalities and 54 VDCs of the district due to the earthquake on April 25, 2015, said the DAO.

The family of those killed in the earthquake was provided with the relief aid of Rs 800,000, while Rs 15,000 was provided to each quake-affected families, Assistant CDO informed.
