Report on development assistance unveiled

KATHMANDU: The government has unveiled the report on development assistance on Sunday.

Making public the report at the Finance Ministry, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, said the report has incorporated the status of the assistance Nepal received for the development for the fiscal year 2015/16 AD.

Compared to the previous year, the government has been able to increase the mobilisation of the development assistance by 5.22 percent, thereby reaching $74 million.

Among the mobilised amount, 50 percent is a grant, 35 percent a loan and 15 percent a technical assistance.

Among the total mobilised foreign assistance, 63 percent is mobilised under the national budget system.
