Republic no panacea: NWPP

Chairman of Nepal Workers and Peasants’ Party (NWPP), Narayan Man Bijukchhe Rohit has said the special session of Parliament has been postponed to find a solution to
the problem by removing the differences that has appeared among the seven political parties.
Inaugurating the first general meeting of Prabhat Secondary School Alumni Association here today, he said the special session has been postponed for resolving the problem as it became sure that the Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist would lose the vote if the proposals presented in the Parliament were put to a vote.
He said the republic is not the panacea to all problems.
Even complex problems might arise with the immediate proclamation of a republic.
At the programme presided over by president of the Prabhad School alumni association Narayan Prasad Koju, president of Prabhat Education Guthi, Prem Suwal and school principal Saroj Raj Gosain also expressed their views.
