Chairman of the Sadbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato has stressed the need for resolving the issues of provincial boundaries within one-and-a-half months by any means.

In his brief remarks to journalists at the Biratnagar Airport today, leader Mahato, however, said that there was no guarantee that the demarcation issue would be resolved with the mere formation of a political mechanism comprising leaders of major political parties.

He suggested that positive outcome could be achieved if the existing task force puts in efforts to resolve the issue at the earliest.

Sadbhawana Party chairman said a mechanism to be formed without addressing the issues raised by providing treatment to the people injured in course of the Madhes agitation and compensation to the families of those killed during the Madhes agitation would be meaningless.
