Birgunj, February 16

Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala today said her party could emerge as potent political force only after intra-party differences were resolved.

The NC leader said so during a programme held to inaugurate GP Koirala Foundation’s Parsa district office in Birgunj today. Sujata Koirala, NC General Secretary Shashanka Koirala and NC leader Sekhar Koirala jointly inaugurated the office.

Sujata Koirala said Koirala family was united in the NC. “Koirala family will work together and revive the party’s glory,” she said

Stating that delivering speeches alone would not help strengthen the party, she said “Delivering speeches alone is not enough. You have to work honestly and rigorously,” she added.

At the programme, three leaders from the Koirala clan were felicitated with a garland weighing 121 kilograms. A photo exhibition was also held on the occasion. One hundred photos of different times related to Koirala family were put on display.
