Revolving fund of Rs 2 million established
BABIYACHAUR: A revolving fund of Rs 2 million has been constituted in a community school in Myagdi district to retain and lure more students.
The revolving fund was arranged in the Galeshwor-based Jadbharat Primary School of Beni Municipality-9 aiming to provide scholarships and encourage the regular school goers.
UK-based Khim Sherchan of Galeshwor helped raised the funds to establish the revolving fund.
The school said that the regular school-attending students would be given Rs 200 each on monthly basis.
Sherchan said that parents of the students enrolled in the UK-based Sussex House School in Chelsea provided the amount for establishing fund.
The school management committee has said that financial support from UK has provided them a great relief and encouragement.
