POKHARA: A rickshaw driver died after being hit by a truck at Tersapatti road of Pokhara Sub-Metropolis on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Narayan Subedi (40) of Pipaldali of Pokhara-23.

Subedi, who was critically injured in the accident, breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Western Regional Hospital, DSP Gaju Siddhi Bajracharya of the District Police Office, Karki.

Police said that the truck (Ga 1 Ka 772) hit the rickshaw yesterday afternoon.

Police have impounded the truck and arrested its driver Taranath Batola for investigation.
