RJPs call on govt

Kathmandu: Expressing concern over communicable disease taking its toll on various parts of the country, Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP) has called for prompt government action. "Most district hospitals and health posts lack medicines and health personnel. It has further worsened the situation at places, where people are vulnerable to communicable diseases, including swine flu," said a proposal passed by a national meeting of RJP. The meeting was held on November 29-30 in the capital. It also appealed for prompt respond to the plight of the people by delivering medical kits and mobilising teams of health professionals.
