Ilam, October 3:

A road encompassing Ilam, Panchthar and Taplejung districts is on the cards.

The road spanning Kanchanjunga conservation area will be constructed with financial and technical cooperation of the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD).

The Ilam Cooperation Council, the NGO Federation, Panchthar, Batabaran Samrachhan Vikas Manch will be mobilised under the coordination of Namsling Community Development Centre for the construction of the road. The ICIMOD had conducted a study in 19 VDCs for the road construction.
