King Gyanendra and Queen Komal today evening visited the Bindhaybasini temple and offered puja. Hem Bahadur Pradhan, the chairman of the Bindhyabasini Religious Area Development Committee had welcomed the royal couple. The young Brahmins chanted matras during the visit.Meanwhile, preparations for the grand civic felicitation ceremony to be held at the Pokhara Stadium tomorrow are complete.

Speaking at a press conference, Bishnu Prasad Pokharle, the coordinator of publicity sub-committee said the welcome gates have been constructed and posters and banners are hung throughout the city to welcome the royal couple.

The Pokhara Stadium has been divided into different sectors for managing the sea of people. Meanwhile, Tanahun district residents are also preparing to welcome the royal couple in the district.
