RPP meet ends
Kathmandu, December 11:
The fourth national convention of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party concluded here today and the election’s result for the 25-member central working committee under the chairmanship of Pashupati Shumsher Rana will be made public tomorrow.
The vote counting was going on at the time of reporting the news and it was said that the final result would be out by 2 to 3 am tomorrow.
The party is going to hold a conclusion programme at the party office tomorrow afternoon.
“The convention concluded by taking a historic decision on the party’s stand on the monarchy. Though a group of party workers protested against the new stand, it would not be changed because it was passed by the mass of the convention,” said Parashuram Khapung, the RPP spokesperson.
He also said that the convention today passed the party’s papers on political, economic, Madhesi and Janajati issues with amendments.
