Rs 20.3m Indian aid for schools

Kathmandu, April 13:

The Indian government has decided to provide an assistance of Rs 20.3 million for the construction of two schools in Saptari district.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Shiv Shankar Mukherjee, laid the foundation stones of the school buildings in Saptari today. The schools are Shree Janata Primary School in Behli Chapena and Shree Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus in Rajbiraj.

India will extend assistance of Rs 6,98,139 for the construction to Shree Janata school and Rs 1,96,45,532 for the construction of a girls’ hostel at Shree Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus.
