Candidates of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have secured victories in several House of Representatives constituencies across the country, including a high-profile win by Amresh Kumar Singh over Gagan Thapa in Sarlahi-4.
According to the Election Office, Singh received 35,688 votes, defeating Gagan Thapa of the Nepali Congress, who secured 22,838 votes. Amanish Kumar Yadav of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) obtained 9,343 votes.
In Sarlahi-3, RSP's Narendra Sah Kalwar was elected with 46,890 votes, defeating Narayan Kaji Shrestha of the Nepali Communist Party, who garnered 13,338 votes.
Similarly, Ganesh Karki won Morang-3 with 36,924 votes, defeating Sunil Kumar Sharma of the Nepali Congress, while Shambhu Prasad Dhakal secured victory in Jhapa-4 with 43,631 votes.
In Nawalparasi West-1, Bikram Khanal was elected with 45,241 votes, defeating Nepali Congress candidate Binod Kumar Chaudhary.
Likewise, Madhav Bahadur Thapa won Palpa-2 with 26,736 votes, while Harimohan Bhandari secured the seat from Baitadi with 22,134 votes.
RSP's Khemraj Koirala was elected from Kailali-4 with 28,556 votes, while Ujjwal Kumar Jha won Mahottari-3 with 32,451 votes.
Similarly, Shambhu Kumar Yadav secured victory in Siraha-3 with 32,249 votes, and Jagadish Kharel won Lalitpur-2 with 39,941 votes, defeating Prem Krishna Maharjan of the Nepali Congress.
