Rukum lecturers on warpath
RUKUM:Demanding resignation of campus chief and assistant campus chief, lecturers at Khalanga Multiple Campus have halted all the academic activities.
The lecturers have been demanding resignation of campus chief Bishwanath Gywali and assistant campus chief Phal Bahadur Bohora for the last three months alleging them that they were under-qualified for the posts.
Haribishnu Oli, one of the agitating lectures, said, “They must resign. They don’t meet the criteria set by Tribhuvan University for the posts of chief and assistant chief.
Meanwhile, students of the campus have submitted a memorandum to the Chief District Officer demanding resumption of academic activities as examinations were approaching.
The students also warned of agitation if the classes were not resumed at the earliest.
