KATHMANDU: The parliamentary Hearing Committee today unanimously approved the appointment of Arun Prasad Dhital, under-secretary at the Foreign Ministry, as the Nepali Ambassador to South Africa. The council of ministers had nominated Dhital for the post. No complaints were lodged against his nomination. Dhital, who joined the government service in 1977, said that he would focus his attention on strengthening bilateral relationship between the two countries as well as to explore areas of economic cooperation.
