Sadbhawana leader Mahato gets mammoth garland in Birgunj

BIRGUNJ: Sadbhawana Party Chairman and former minister Rajendra Mahato was offered a mammoth garland by journalists affiliated with his party here in the headquarters of Parsa on Tuesday.

The colourful garland, made up of various flowers, is worth at least Rs 15,000 in Birgunj.

Mahato came to the border city to inaugurate the maiden convention of Press Manch Nepal, which is an organisation of media personnel loyal to Sadbhawana Party.

The convention is scheduled to conclude tomorrow choosing the Press Manch Nepal's new working committee, according to Santosh Patel of the convention organising committee.
