KATHMANDU: Police said they have taken two men in custody from the Tribhuvan International Airport after they were found in possession of 51 tola of undeclared gold on Monday evening.

Boarding an Etihad Air flight, Ramesh Bishwakarma of Itahari, Sunsari, and Kumar Shrestha of Dharan, Sunsari, had landed in Kathmandu.

During security check, police said, they found 26 tola of gold in Bishwakarma's possession and 25 tola in Shrestha.

Police said they are looking into the case.
