Sauraha prepared to host UML national cadre meeting

CHITWAN: Preparations for the national cadre meeting of CPN-UML to be held in Sauraha of Chitwan district have been completed.

The party has called the assembly to discuss current political issues, challenges of implementing the new Constitution, ongoing Tarai protest and to develop future strategy and concrete viewpoint of the party to resolve these issues.

The district party chair Jagannath Thapaliya shared that the Prime Minister and party chair KP Sharma Oli would inaugurate the conference at 11:00 am on Monday.

Party leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal, Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai among other leaders would arrive here today itself.

A total of 235 delegates including party office bearers, central committee members, lawmakers, district chairs and in-charges of 22 Tarai districts would participate in the meeting.

The meeting would conclude on Tuesday with the Sauraha declaration.
