SURKHET: The Surkhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has launched Youtube channel in a bid to disseminating information on all its activities through digital medium.

Chief Minister of the Karnali Province, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, inaugurated Youtube channel at a programme on the occasion of the SCCI's 34th annual general meeting in the district today.

Addressing the function, Chief Minister Shahi urged the local industrialists and businesspersons to help create an environment to bring in more investment to the province for making it into a prosperous province. He stressed on promoting the export of local products.

The Chief Minister underlined the need of utilising the resources like land, water, forest and herbs that are abundant in the province. He also spoke of the potentiality of developing tourism in the province to boost income.

SCCI president Prakash Adhikari said the operation of the Youtube channel would help promote good governance through the digital dissemination of information on SCCI's every activity.
