Siraha, February 16
The schools based in Bishnupur Rural Municipality decided to close down for five days after a staffer and teacher thrashed the head teacher of Janata Secondary School at Rajpur of the rural municipality in Siraha.
Accountant Saroj Kumar Yadav and volunteer teacher Naresh Kumar Yadav thrashed the head teacher Satrudhan Yadav of the school today after a minor issue of timing for running the school ran high yesterday.
All the schools based in the rural municipality will be closed till February 20.
The protest committee said Saroj Kumar, his brother Rakesh Kumar and Naresh Kumar had thrashed the head teacher. The protest committee demanded that action be taken against the accused under the law of the land.
Following the incident, head teacher Satrudhan Yadav had reached the rural municipality office for shelter.
