KATHMANDU: A man died when a tractor hit a scooter he was riding on at Pharsatikar-3 in Rupandehi district on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as scooter rider Sagar KC (20) of Tilottama Municipality-8 in the district.

The tractor (Lu 2 Ta 79) hit the scooter (Lu 21 Pa 3310) at around 6:30 pm yesterday.

KC, who was critically injured in the incident, breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Bhairahawa Medical College, Rupandehi, informed police.

Police have impounded the four-wheeler and arrested its driver for investigation.
