Scribe succumbs to injuries

Dharan, April 1:
Journalist Khagendra Shrestha, 45, who was shot by an unidentified gang on March 15 died today while undergoing treatment in Siliguri, India.
Shrestha sustained head injuries when the gang shot at him in his office at Chataraline-12, Dharan. He was admitted to the ICU of Anandlok Nursing Home in Siligudi, India.
The Area Police Office (APO), Dharan, has confirmed his death. The APO chief inspector Krishna Prasad Sharma said the preparations were on to bring the body back.
Shrestha was the editor and publisher of Dharan Today daily.
