Security situation normal throughout the country: MoHA
KATHMANDU: Ministry of Home Affairs has stated that the security situation throughout the country is normal and calm.
According to Bal Krishna Panti, Spokesperson of MoHA, adequate numbers of security personnel have been mobilised in various parts of the country to ensure peace and security during the ongoing Dashain festival.
Panti informed that the security personnel were in constant contact with the headquarters based in Kathmandu and assessing and updating the security situation from all quarters of the country.
Furthermore, MoHA shared that a landslide occurred in Aabukhaireni in Tanahu district last night has been cleared this morning to ensure smooth traffic flow along the road.
MoHA has also deployed separate teams of security personnel in various disaster-prone zones for the prompt respond to disasters.
