Seven cement factories of Rupandehi district were closed today after 18 truck entrepreneurs committees affiliated to the Nepal Truck and Tanker Entrepreneurs’ Federation used
syndicate system in the transportation of goods. The cement factories closed down in protest against the syndicate system introduced by the federation. The syndicate system also affected the trucks owned by the factories. Jagadamba, Supreme, Brij, Reliance, Siddharth, Kailash and Ambuja cement factories closed today.
