Dhading, August 29 :

The Maoists arrested a group of seven persons, who were involved in dacoity and robbery in the villages in the guise of Maoists, at Kebalpur and Chhatre Deurali VDCs. Five of them were handed over to police.

According to Area Police Office, Khanikhola, the Maoists reportedly followed them in various places where they were found committing robberies in combat outfit of Maoists.

Those arrested included former armed police personel, Bhakta Bahadur Baiba, Shambhu Muthbhari and Ramkrishna Dahal. They were handed over to the police in the presence of journalists.

Likewise, Suraj Tamang and Sunil Tamang were arrested from Chhatre Deurali, area in-charge of the Maoists Nishan said.
